Unclaimed Property Holder Payment Options

Pay with an e-check (free) through the TransAction Portal:

1. Go to the TAP Website.
2. Select Make a Payment.
3. Enter your 13-digit Montana Account ID (e.g., 0000000-000-XXX)
   or
   provide your 10-digit confirmation number from uploading your UCH file: 0-000-000-000
4. Enter your bank information
5. Submit.

Transfer funds from your financial institution to the Department of Revenue. You will need to register with us to transfer funds for the first time. View Bank Information for ACH Credit Payments.

1. Visit our TAP Website. Select View More Options under Businesses, and then select ACH Credit Payment Registration.
2. You will need:
   • Your FEIN.
   • Your 13-digit Montana Account ID.
3. Submit the payment. Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation and our ACH Instructions. Save these for your records.

Send your check, along with the appropriate voucher, to:

To ensure proper credit to your account, you must include the Account ID or FEIN and payment period on the voucher.
