Request a Payment Plan from the Department of Revenue

If you owe taxes and want to set up a payment plan, you can make the request online through the TransAction Portal (TAP).

Steps to Request a Payment Plan

  1. Log in to your TAP account.
    • Don’t have one? Click “New User? Setup online access.”
  2. Select the account you want to request a payment plan for.
    • Note: Your account must have a balance due.
  3. In the Account Options panel, choose Request a Payment Plan.
  4. Submit your request.

Most requests will be approved immediately, but if we need to review your request, we will send you a web message. Check your web messages by clicking on the Correspondence tab, then clicking on the My Notices option.

You can request a payment plan for these tax types:

  • Withholding Tax
  • Individual Income Tax
  • Lodging Facility Sales and Use Tax
  • Corporate Income Tax
  • Small Business Corporation Tax
  • Partnership Tax
  • Other Tobacco Products Tax
  • Bad Debts
