Request a Payment Plan from the Department of Revenue
If you owe taxes and want to set up a payment plan, you can make the request online through the TransAction Portal (TAP).
Steps to Request a Payment Plan
- Log in to your TAP account.
- Don’t have one? Click “New User? Setup online access.”
- Select the account you want to request a payment plan for.
- Note: Your account must have a balance due.
- In the Account Options panel, choose Request a Payment Plan.
- Submit your request.
Most requests will be approved immediately, but if we need to review your request, we will send you a web message. Check your web messages by clicking on the Correspondence tab, then clicking on the My Notices option.
You can request a payment plan for these tax types:
- Withholding Tax
- Individual Income Tax
- Lodging Facility Sales and Use Tax
- Corporate Income Tax
- Small Business Corporation Tax
- Partnership Tax
- Other Tobacco Products Tax
- Bad Debts
