Granting Additional Third-Party Access in the TransAction Portal (TAP)

Instructions

To grant a request for third-party access to your tax accounts from another TransAction Portal (TAP) user, follow these steps:

On the TAP home screen, you have two options:

Option 1:

  • Under the Individuals tile, click View More Options.

Option 2:

  •  Under the Businesses tile, click Grant Third Party Account Access.

On the Select Account Type screen, select the appropriate account type from the dropdown list.

Fill in the required fields on the Verification Information screen.

Read the confirmation statement carefully. Check the box indicating you understand the information is accurate and that you are the account owner.

Click Submit to finalize granting access.
