To improve customer service and provide a more efficient way to connect with the correct staff members, the Cannabis and Alcohol Regulation Division (CARD) has updated its primary customer service phone number.

Beginning August 19, please call (406) 444-0596 for assistance with alcohol or cannabis questions.

General Hours

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If you have questions about any of the following, our phone system will guide you to the appropriate staff member for assistance:

• Existing licenses
• New license applications
• Pending applications
• Alcohol education and Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service (RASS)
• Alcohol distribution
• General regulatory questions
