Annual Education Requirements for a Montana Marijuana Worker Permit

The Cannabis and Alcohol Regulation Division has launched two educational courses that are required to be taken annually as a portion of the marijuana worker permit requirements:

  • Identifying, Preventing, and Reporting Human Trafficking
  • Rules & Regulations: Legal Sales of Marijuana in Montana

Passing the Courses

Participants who are applying to obtain a marijuana worker permit must take the courses and the 2 quizzes, with a minimum passing score of 80%.

There is no limit to the number of attempts by the participant to pass the quizzes and obtain the certificates.


How to Create Your Moodle Account

Open your browser and navigate to montanamoodle.org

Select Create a new account and complete the required fields marked with an asterisk (*).

You will create a username and password specific to you and your training. Be sure to record this information so you can return to your training at any time.

Note: The primary email you enter must be unique. This email is used to issue certificates and send updates.

Fill in all required fields:

  • Your chosen username and password
  • Email address (you will re-enter your email to confirm)
  • First and Last Name
  • City/Town

Then click Create my new account.

Note: Please check your spam and junk mail folders for your account registration

An email has been sent to the address you used to register. Once you have confirmed your account registration, select the Catalog option in the top navigation bar.

Participants may proceed with either course first. The quizzes for both courses will not be available until each course has been fully completed.
