Passenger Carrier Licenses

A Passenger Carrier License is for common carriers serving Montana. (16-4-302, MCA)

This license lets you serve alcoholic beverages to passengers on:

• Aircraft flying over Montana
• Railroad cars traveling through Montana

Fees

• New License Fee: $300
• Processing Fee: $100
• Renewal Fee: $300

The application processing fee only applies to original applications and is not applied to renewals.

Renewal Date

A passenger carrier license must be renewed every year by June 30.
