The Montana Department of Revenue invites you to sign up to receive its new electronic newsletter titled Montana Tax News You Can Use. The e-newsletter is designed to keep tax preparers informed of new developments at the department, updated processes, and issues and trends popping up during tax season in Montana. It's a resource for anyone who assists people in filing taxes and meeting their tax responsibility and for those interested in the state's tax system. And, of course, it's free.
"We greatly appreciate the work you do as tax preparers and understand how important it is for you to stay abreast of Montana's tax system," says Revenue Director Mike Kadas. "That's why we're doing our best to keep you well informed, in plain language, of any important news that might have an impact on your work."
Montana Tax News You Can Use will give basic facts and practical information about the filing of returns, calculations and other tax return processes – news you can use right away to help you keep your work flowing during tax season. For example, we’ll give you up-to-date information when vendors have been approved for filing returns. We’ll notify you about any delays or glitches with regard to tax season.
