The Montana Department of Revenue invites you to sign up to receive its new electronic newsletter titled Montana Tax News You Can Use. The e-newsletter is designed to provide tax preparers with new developments from the department, updated processes, and issues and trends during tax season in Montana. And of course, it's free. It's a communications tool for everyone who assists people in filing taxes and meeting their tax responsibility.
"We greatly appreciate the work you do as tax preparers and understand how important it is for you to stay abreast of Montana's tax system," says Revenue Director Mike Kadas. "That's why we're doing our best to keep you well informed, in plain language, of any important news that might have an impact on your work."
Montana Tax News You Can Use will give basic facts and practical information about the filing of returns, calculations and other tax return processes – news you can use right away to help you keep your work flowing as easily as possible for you during tax season. For example, we’ll give you up to date information when vendors have been approved for filing returns. We’ll notify you about any delays or glitches with regard to tax season. And, occasionally we’ll even give you some good news!
