Advisory Council Working Group on Local Government Issues
Introduction: On July 27, 2009, this working group was created by Executive Order as part of the Department of Revenue. The purpose of this working group was to gather information and may make recommendations on issues concerning, but not limited to, the annual certification of taxable values and newly taxable property, enhancements to Department communication and services to local governments, and the administration of shared revenue sources (e.g. coal gross proceeds and oil and gas revenues). This working group ran its term and sunset in 2011, so it is no longer active.
